Colchester United are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon King as Head Coach of the Women's team.
Simon has worked extensively in the female game having been integral part of the Essex Regional Talent Centre programme for many years, where he worked with a variety of age groups and for the latter years was the RTC Centre Director.
Simon is holder of the UEFA A licence, an FA tutor, a coach who will bring a wealth of experience and he will be a real asset to the team for this season and beyond.
He will continue to be supported by assistant head coach Milly Morgan and goalkeeping Coach Carl Oliver, who have successfully been in caretaker charge throughout the month of January.
This coaching trio provides a superb blend of experience and character to guide the team forward.
Simon had this to say on his appointment: "I am delighted to be named the Head Coach of Colchester United Women’s Football Club."
