At Colchester United Community Foundation we run numerous FREE FOOTBALL sessions every week for young people, across various locations.

The Premier League Kicks sessions aim to create safer, stronger communities by offering free football, helping young participants build confidence, develop life skills, and stay active.
Kicks sessions offer opportunities to 8-18 year olds (location dependant) to enjoy a socialable hour of football, with girls only sessions available at both Clacton and Shrub End.
Last year we welcomed over 600 young people to our weekly sessions, where we delivered 264 hours of FREE football. In that time, we supported young people to access workshops focusing on social development, prejudice awareness along with social actions and volunteering opportunites.

Across the season we provided 5 matchday opportunities for participants, including stadium tours, player meets and the chance to play football on the 1st team pitch.
Premier League Kicks sessions run at Shrub End, Mile End, Greenstead, Clacton & Witham.
Sessions for the 2026-27 season start on the week commencing September 7th.
