Colchester United have signed Jake Leake.
The twenty three year old joins the U's following the expiry of his contract at Oldham Athletic, subject to the usual ratifications from the relevant bodies.
He started out as an Academy graduate at Hull City, spending time out on loan at Boston and Scunthorpe in his time at the Tigers.
His first taste of EFL action came in a loan spell at Tranmere Rovers in 2023, before heading to Oldham on loan in the January 2025 transfer window for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
He then signed for the Latics permanently a year ago, before moving South for the first time this summer as he joins the U's.
