Colchester United's players were back in for pre-season training this week, with new faces amongst them.
That meant a busy couple of days for Col U TV, as the new signings were introduced to U's supporters.
Interviews were completed with new signings Sean Raggett and Jake Leake, as well as U's boss Danny Cowley talking pre-season match schedules and Ellis Iandolo talking about signing again to stay here in north Essex.
Sean told Col U TV: "It’s great to be here first of all, and it’s a great time to sign. You don’t want to miss out too much pre-season and find yourself a few weeks behind so, it’s perfect that this has come along now. I’m ready to get going.
And on meeting with Danny and Nicky prior to signing, he added: "I know what they’re like as people, they’re hard workers, they’re winners for me."
"That’s how I like to look at myself really, I want to come into a club and win and be successful, and you know, I can see that working too."
We spoke to Danny on the first day back at Florence Park on Wednesday, with him saying: "Great to be back! I think it's forty eight days in pre-season. Forty eight days till our first league game anyway."
"Great to see all the boys. They’re back, they’re doing some testing today. A lot of baseline testing just to understand where they’re at. They come back to us in pretty good physical shape."
