Colchester United have signed striker Leon Chiwome on loan.
The twenty year old striker has signed on loan until the end of the season, subject to the usual paperwork approvals.
Born in West Sussex, Chiwome played his school football on the South Coast, before being spotted by AFC Wimbledon and taken into the Academy at Plough Lane.
He moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers as a sixteen year old in the summer of 2022, and signed his first professional contract with Wolves just seven months later.
He made his debut for the first team in an FA Cup Quarter-Final tie against Coventry City at Molineux in March 2024, before making his Premier League debut two weeks later against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
He has also played international football, for England's U17s and U18s - scoring a hat-trick for the U17s just after his seventeenth birthday in a 6-0 win against Germany.
