Colchester United have signed Kylian Kouassi.
The twenty three year old has signed on a permanent basis, after leaving Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
It has been no secret that Danny and Nicky Cowley have been looking to bring in another front man ahead of the summer transfer window shutting on Tuesday night.
And they have now added that forward to the squad, with Kouassi signing a two year deal that secures him to the U's until the summer of 2028, subject to the usual approvals.
After coming through the Academy into the first team at Sutton United, he made almost fifty appearances for the club before signing for Blackpool in the summer of 2023.
Season long loans at Salford City and Cambridge United over the past couple of years saw him gain valuable League Two experience, before returning to Blackpool in the summer.
Kylian signed a contract extension in May, but the U's have now made a move for him.
