The left-sided defender was the first signing of the summer in 2023, making the switch from Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.
The full back progressed through the youth academy at Gillingham, before being picked up by fellow Kent-based side Maidstone United. Ellis would spend just one season out of the EFL before being picked up by League One Swindon Town in 2015, beginning an eight-year association with the Robins.
In his time at the County Ground, Iandolo would go on to notch up 172 appearances in all competitions, as well as being a regular fixture in both League One and League Two.
The defender collected a League Two winners medal in 2020 after Richie Wellens’ side stormed to the top of the table before the season was curtailed due to COVID-19, before linking up with his former boss Ben Garner at Colchester United in the summer of 2023.
