Jack Tucker joined Colchester United on a loan deal until the end of the 2024/25 season, signing from fellow League Two side MK Dons.
The central defender has already picked up plenty of experience at League One and League Two level, with over 130 appearances for boyhood club Gillingham between 2017 and 2022 after early loan spells away from Priestfield with Greenwich Borough and Hastings United.
MK Dons was his next permanent destination, arriving in Milton Keynes in 2022, making forty-eight appearances in his first season as the club was relegated from League One.
Finding appearances more difficult to come by with the Dons in League Two, Tucker joined Colchester United on a loan deal through to the end of the campaign, making his debut in the 1-0 win over Morecambe at the JobServe Community Stadium.
“It’s a really good feeling to be back playing regular games and helping the team. It feels good to be an important part of what we’re trying to build here— We’ve given ourselves a good platform and I’m thoroughly enjoying being a big part of that.” Jack Tucker, Pre MK Dons
