Bio
Born in Lambeth, London, Sesay began his youth career at Chelsea’s academy before transferring to Southampton on a scholarship deal in July 2023.
During his time at Southampton, he honed in his skills and grew capable operating as a central midfielder as well as along the left wing. In January 2025, he signed his first professional contract with Southampton.
Sesay earned his first call-up to the England U18 national squad and debut in the 2-2 draw against Czechia U18s, where he scored and made a big impact for the team.
In August 2025, Sesay also saw his first debut with Southampton’s senior steam as a late substitute in a 3-0 victory against Norwich City in the EFL Cup. During the 2025/26 season, he experienced a very high productive campaign while playing for Southampton’s U21 side. In the Premier League 2 campaign, he contributed 4 goals and 3 assists, and saw 1,600 minutes of league action.
On 21st August 2026, Sesay joined the U’s on a season-long loan and shortly made his debut for the club in the 46th minute in the 2-1 victory against Oldham Athletic.
