Bio
Oscar Thorn started his youth football development at Arsenal’s academy from the U10s to the U14s. He later joined with non-league youth teams, Billericay Town and Bowers & Pitsea, before joining Norwich City as a scholar in 2020.
In August 2021, Thorn signed his first professional contract with Norwich City and played in the U18, U21 and U23 divisions from September 2020 to January 2023.
Thorn signed with Colchester United on a permanent deal on 16th January 2023. During his time with the U’s, he gained and completed loan spells at non-league teams, Bath City and Chelmsford City, in November 2023 and August 2024 respectively.
After being recalled from Chelmsford in October 2024, Thorn made his senior league debut for the U’s on 22nd October 2024 and assisted a goal in a 1-1 draw against Chesterfield, marking his presence for the team. From then on, he continued to make a regular presence in the starting lineups and a featured player for the U’s, marking 34 appearances in all competitions..
On 26th August 2025, Thorn secured a four-year deal with League One side Lincoln City for an undisclosed fee, making his debut for the Imps in a 1-1 draw against Mansfield Town shortly after.
On 7th August 2026, Thorn rejoined the U’s on a season-long loan for the 2026/27 season and made his second debut at the EFL Cup match against Southampton.
