Local firm encouraging new fans to attend.
Young football fans from across the local area will be given the chance to watch Colchester United for FREE, thanks to the generosity of a Colchester based plumbing and heating firm.
The U's have teamed up with Valcore, who have become the first sponsors of the U's new community programme 'First Team Debuts', with the local company sponsoring hundreds of tickets for fans aged 14 or under to attend the match against Swindon Town on December 29th.
Valcore director Brett Went said: "As a company, we are keen to work within the local community that supports our business and, since Valcore was formed, we have already worked with Age UK to help support elderly residents around Colchester and beyond.
"We are delighted to team up with Colchester United on this fantastic project and we are proud to be the first business to lend our support to the First Team Debuts scheme.
"We hope that Valcore can play a key part in giving young football fans a taste of live football action and, as a result, help our local football club to build a fanbase to be proud of in the future."
