Visit the FA Cup next week!
The FA has invited fans of both the U's and Chelmsford City to warm up for next week’s big FA Cup First Round clash by having their photo taken with the famous silverware at the Clarets' Melbourne Stadium on Wednesday 31st October.
City will have their Player-Assistant Manager Dave Rainford in attendance alongside legend of the past, Tony Butcher, who played in Chelmsford's FA Cup clash against the U's in 1968.
Colchester United won that particular FA Cup tie 2-0 in front of 16,000 at New Writtle Street.
The FA Cup will be at Melbourne Stadium from 4pm-6pm on Wednesday and both local and national media will be in attendance across the two hours.
