Sears back in contention
The U's will have Freddie Sears back in the squad for the start of 2014.Sears has been out of action with a hamstring injury but returns to the squad facing MK Dons on New Year's Day.
Should he make the field of play at stadium:mk, it will be the former West Ham forward's first action since November 23rd.
It was at Preston North End that Sears had to come off due to a recurring hamstring problem but he is back ready and available for boss Joe Dunne as the season hits the halfway stage.
He travels in the twenty one man squad, as the U's look for their first double of the season.
U's: Walker, Cousins, Olufemi, Wilson, Dickson, Garbutt, Eastman, Okuonghae, Kent, Sanderson, Gilbey, Bean, Eastmond, Bond, Wright(David), Sears, Watt, Turgott, Vose, Morrison, Ibehre.
Karl Robinson's Dons were beaten 3-1 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium back in November and a repeat will consolidate the U's place in mid-table.
