McDonalds take Academy sponsorship
Congratulations to Craig Newnes and his Colchester McDonalds for becoming the Colchester United U10s official sponsor for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons!
Colchester United are recognised for their commitment to academy development and with a devout youth philosophy, the club have given the rare opportunity to local youngsters to fulfill their dreams and potential.
McDonalds have shown the same desire and commitment to invest in the future and our U10s team look forward to working alongside their new sponsors as they push on and progress as the U’s of tomorrow.
And Craig was pleased to be involved with the U’s, saying: “Having recently taken over all three McDonalds restaurants in Colchester, its a great honour to sponsor the U10s at Colchester United Football Club’s Academy. Its a great club with superb football ethics, they do a lot of great work in the local Community and I’m proud and happy to be associated with them.
It’s is a partnership that U’s Head of Youth Tony Humes is keen to nurture and build upon. He told the official website: “It’s fantastic that Craig Newnes and McDonalds are supporting what we are doing in the Academy with this sponsorship.”
