28 June 2013

Joe's persistence pays off.

"Teams will find it hard to come here with the way that we play and I love to win matches, so I'm looking forward to doing that at Colchester - it's my time to shine. I know that I've got to fight for my place, but I'm ready."

"It's a big season ahead and I want to carry on from where I left off.

"He has kept in contact throughout and has been on my case to come here, wanting me to come here and play football at Colchester United.

"Even before I got injured in my loan spell here, the manager had been speaking about me joining at the end of the season," he said.
