Pie & Mash FAQs

6 October 2014

Here's what you need to know ahead of Tuesday.

Around 250 fans will get to enjoy our great pie and mash deal for Tuesday night’s Johnstone’s Paints Trophy game against Gillingham.

It is a slight twist on our usual successful matchday offer and, as a result, there are many people trying the Layer Suite for the first time.

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about what should hopefully be an exciting night of cup football!

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 5.30pm, but it’s open service, meaning you can go up and get your food once you get to the stadium on Tuesday night.

How do I get my food?
There will be three service stations within the Layer Suite on Tuesday, so present your match ticket for the game and they’ll take a stub – and give you your food to enjoy!

Where am I sitting?
Once you’ve got your food, you will be able to take a seat and tuck in. There is no seating plan, we want you to get stuck in and get talking with your fellow U’s fans about the season so far.

What’s the dress code?
Smart casual - jeans are allowed, for example.

Where can I get my programme?
As well as the sellers outside in their normal positions, there will be a seller walking around in the Layer Suite, so grab your copy for just £1.50!

What else is happening?
U’s U18s coach and club legend Karl Duguid will be participating in a Q&A before the game, giving his views on the season so far.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday night for the match against the Gills!
