U's Aim To Extend Run

24 October 2014

Swindon test as U's look to go four without loss.

Colchester United will look to extend their recent unbeaten run when they travel to Swindon Town on Saturday.

Tony Humes' men have picked up seven points in their last three games, as they've shown a real resilience to bounce back from falling behind on each occasion.

They will wait on the wellbeing of Frankie Kent for the trip to the West Country, after the young central defender took a blow to the head early on in the win over Chesterfield on Tuesday night.

Tony has ensured that he has cover in that area of the pitch, though, as Kevin Lokko travels with the first team for the first time since his summer switch from Norwich City.

Dom Smith also travels after his brace on Monday night against Leeds United in the U21s.

However, the two Wrights - Drey and David - both miss out through injury, with Drey ruled out for the season this week with a cruciate ligament injury.

Otherwise, the U's are in good shape as they look to continue their climb up the League One table.

U's: Walker, Lewington, Clohessy, Gordon, Hewitt, Okuonghae, Eastman, Kent, Fox, Gilbey, Moncur, Eastmond, Szmodics, Massey, Watt, Healey, Sears, Bonne, Smith, Curtis, Lokko
