Midfielder pens new contract.
Colchester United are pleased to confirm that midfielder Tom Lapslie has penned a new contract to extend his stay with the club.
Tom is one of a number of Academy products to have established himself in the first team picture this season, playing 12 times in the first team after making his debut in the FA Cup against Cardiff in January.
He scored his first goal for the club against Bristol City, as the U's toppled the league leaders 3-2.
The tenacious midfielder has now signed a new three year contract to take him through to the summer of 2018 with the U's.
