Striker undergoes appendix operation.

We wish Rhys well as he looks to get back to fitness.

"He'll be out for four to six weeks."

Speaking to the press after Saturday's win against Leyton Orient, boss Tony Humes said: "Rhys went back to Cardiff to get some dental work done, but whilst he was down there, he unfortunately had to have an emergency operation for a burst appendix.

The front man, who has notched four times since his arrival from Cardiff City, returned to the Welsh capital last week and underwent surgery to remove his appendix. 

Colchester United loanee striker Rhys Healey is set for up to six weeks out after having an appendix operation.
