U's to welcome police puppies to Port Vale match.
For Tuesday night's game against Port Vale, we are pleased to welcome Essex Police and their latest litter of puppies going through police dog training.
The U's will welcome five puppies who are currently in training with the county's force to become fully fledged police dogs.
The purpose of their visit is to introduce the dogs to the environment of a live football stadium, i.e. floodlights, crowds and hopefully some loud Colchester fans singing!
It is important for the puppies to learn about the general atmosphere surrounding a night match at a professional football stadium and we look forward to welcoming them on Tuesday.
