A young Colchester United side were beaten by an experienced Norwich City eleven at the Canaries' training ground on Monday afternoon.
The U's side featured only Jamie Harney and Cameron James who had played first team football, and they came up against a Norwich side that was made up of senior professionals aiming to get extra fitness now the season is up and running.
Summer recruit Sergio Canos put the home side in front with a curling effort on eleven minutes, but it wasn't until the second half that further goals followed.
Tony Andreu came off the bench to score twice, reacting first to stab home a loose ball from Canos' saved effort, before adding a third for City four minutes from time.
