Loanee Report

30 March 2016

We keep up to speed with the U's currently out on loan.

There was a busy weekend of action for the four young players currently out on loan from Colchester United.

The Easter programme threw two of our players together in the same fixture as James Bransgrove's Wealdstone took on Dion Sembie-Ferris' Margate side on the Saturday.

However, James had to make do with a place on the bench as the Stones ran out 4-1 winners.

With ninety minutes under his belt on the Friday, Dion was back in action on Monday as Margate hosted Essex Senior Cup finalists Concord Rangers.

He played another full game, being denied a chance on goal in the second half, as his loan club fell to a seventh successive defeat.

Meanwhile, back in Essex, Tyler Brampton and Joe Tennent began life with Grays Athletic in their loan spell there.

However, they too experienced a double defeat over the Easter weekend as first Merstham - with a hat-trick from Callum Willock in a 3-1 win - and then high flying East Thurrock took the points.

We'll have more on our loanees as their spells progress.
