Femi Off The Mark

24 October 2016

Striker scores on loan debut.

Colchester United striker Femi Akinwande got off the mark in his Bishops Stortford debut at the weekend, but it wasn't enough to stop his loan side falling to defeat.

Femi, who signed for Stortford on a month's loan earlier in the week, curled one home from 25 yards in the second half.

However, the match was already beyond the home team, who went on to lose 5-1 against St Albans City.

Meanwhile, Jack Curtis got another 68 minutes under his belt at the weekend as Needham Market continued their winning ways.

They beat Burgess Hill Town 3-0 and moved level on points with Leiston at the top of the Ryman Premier League.
