Colchester United will wait on the fitness of Brennan Dickenson as they prepare for Saturday's crunch game against Notts County.
The U's remain four points outside the top seven with four games to go, all against sides above them in the table.
Their weekend opponents sit in fifth, four points off automatic promotion and with at least a play-off spot more or less assured.
Brennan has missed the last two games, whilst Tom Lapslie has also been sidelined in recent weeks.
The duo will be hoping to be part of things before the season is out and their progress will be closely monitored ahead of Saturday's latest home game.
