Colchester United boss John McGreal has a pleasant selection dilemma as the U's prepare to host Port Vale on Saturday.
The U's boss saw his side pick up a good point away at Notts County on the opening day of the season and they will look to build on that when they host Vale on Saturday.
With all players from last Saturday available, John also now has Kane Vincent-Young to choose from, with the defender penning a new contract on Monday afternoon.
“It’s a body that we felt that this squad needed, not only because he can play in the wing-back roles but also because he can go across to the right-hand side and pick that up quite easily, as well.
“We feel as though we have a dual player, with him signing. You have to earn your stripes to play in any team and that’s what Kane has to do but we’re delighted that he’s signed and we’re really pleased.”
