Colchester United are delighted to welcome former VfB Stuttgart defender Danny Collinge to the club on a free transfer.
21-year-old Danny arrives at the JobServe Community Stadium on a two year contract, as he returns to England after a five year stay in Germany.
The centre half came through the ranks at MK Dons, but opted to go to Germany to broaden not only his football education, but also his academic progress as he undertook the International Baccalaureate during his time abroad.
After impressing on trial with the U's at the back end of last season, the England youth international has now put pen to paper to begin the next chapter of his career in north Essex.
Danny's move will be confirmed on July 1st, subject to international clearance and the relevant paperwork being approved.
