Forest Green Rovers host McGreal and Co this weekend

13 September 2019

Colchester United travel to Gloucestershire for this weekend's Sky Bet League Two clash

Coming into the game against Forest Green Rovers, Head Coach John McGreal may have a selection headache due to the return of two players that missesd the 0-0 draw with Walsall last Saturday.

Brandon Comley and Luke Gambin were both away on international duty, with Montserrat and Malta respectively, but have returned in time to make the trip across to Nailsworth.

And McGreal was pleased to have selection issues, saying: "It's miles better than having too few players to pick your squad from, there's real competition for places."

"The lads that came into the team due to Brandon and Luke's call ups did well, but they both did well before they left and have got minutes under their belt on the international stage.

"Everyone obviously wants to be involved and that hunger should give us a better chance of maintaining our unbeaten run against a very good Forest Green side.

"Mark has them playing good football, they missed out in the Play-Offs last season and have started well this time round.

"I'm expecting a good but tough game at the weekend."
