U23s To Face Ipswich

Tractor Boys travel to JCS for 1pm KO

12 October 2020

Dave Huzzey's side will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season when they welcome Ipswich U23s to the JobServe Community Stadium this afternoon.

The young U's side have a win and two draws from their first three games, including last weekend's comeback against Swansea City.

Cochester United were 3-0 down with less than firty-five minutes to play before goals from Cerulli, Brown and Stagg levelled the game up with four minutes to play.

The U's currently sit third in the Professional Development League, with opponents Ipswich Town seventh after they picked up their first win of the season last week.

Ipswich also came from behind last week, as they beat Cardiff 2-1 with a goal in either half.

The game this afternoon will kick-off at 1pm at the JobServe Community Stadium, and will be played behind closed doors due to the current situation.

You can keep up with the game through social media via the Colchester United official channels, or watch the match on Boxcast. Head to at 12.55pm to watch the game.

It will be free to Seasonal Permit holders, and those with £50 or more on a Colchester United Privilege Card.
