Papa Johns' Draw To Be Made On Saturday

Who will the U's play in the last sixteen?

3 December 2021

The draw for the last sixteen of the Papa John's Trophy will be made on Saturday afternoon.

Tuesday night's 2-1 win away at Swindon Town, thanks to two Luke Chambers' headers, put the U's in the hat for the next round.

Like the previous round, the teams are still divided into North and South Sections but this time they can be drawn at home or away.

The U's are joined in the Southen Section by Cambridge, Charlton, MK Dons, Sutton and the U21s sides Chelsea and Arsenal.

The winner of the Exeter and Portsmouth tie is yet to be decided, so they will also both be in the hat.

And the U's will find out who they will be playing in the week commencing January 3rd on Saturday afternoon at 2pm, live on Sky Sports following the match between Coventry and West Brom.
