Colchester United's young sides are preparing for their pre-season games, with the first of which taking place this weekend at Maldon and Tiptree.
Colchester United's youngsters will kick-off their preparations for the upcoming 2021/22 season with the first of eleven pre-season friendlies tomorrow, taking on fellow Essex side, Maldon and Tiptree.
Each of the home games will be played at the U's training ground at Florence Park, and therefore behind-closed-doors.
Further fixtures against other local sides will give the young U's a strong preparation for their upcoming season, with the final pre-season game coming just a day before the First Team start their campaign at Carlisle United on the 7th August.
