Colchester United play at AFC Sudbury on November 5th, with a small number of tickets available to away fans.
It has now been confirmed that the game will be shown live on BBC 2 and BBC iPlayer on Friday 5th November, with a capacity crowd expected.
Sudbury have allocated the U's a number of tickets, and it has been made clear to the hosts that the U's would be grateful to receive additional tickets should they become available.
As usual, seasonal permit holders will be provided with the first option to buy these tickets.
However, as we have been allocated fewer tickets than we have seasonal permit holders, the first option will have to be offered to those who purchased their permits first.
Those selected will receive an email which will confirm they have the option to buy a single ticket and when they next log in to colutickets.com, those permit holders will see the FA Cup fixture in the fixture lists as well as on their dashboard.
Please note that this option to purchase lasts three days, it will then pass to the next qualifying permit holder.
Purchased tickets can be collected from Monday 1st November, or if requested, tickets will be posted out the same day.
Of course there is going to be a number of loyal U's fans that miss out on being at the game in person but this is the fairest way of making the tickets available.
