Young Colchester United defender, Junior Tchamadeu, has been nominated for the LFE League Two Apprentice of the season.
Tchamadeu made his debut for the club last season as a sixteen-year-old, starting in the 2-1 home victory against Grimsby Town, and has since established himself as a regular in the first team.
This season he has thrived with opportunities to play in Sky Bet League Two and cup competitions, with twenty-nine appearances for the club, scoring a memorable first professional goal a few weeks ago against Tranmere Rovers.
His appearances take his professional tally to forty, and having turned eighteen in December, he can expect to make plenty more appearances in the game.
Junior will be up against Alex Aitken of Stevenage, and Ethan Brierley of Rochdale for the award, with the winner announced in the coming weeks.
