Marley Marshall Miranda will head to Stockport this weekend and is feeling confident about his own game and his teammates around him as the U’s hope to bring some valuable points back to North Essex.
Marley Marshall Miranda played the full 90 minutes in the U’s fantastic 1-0 win against Ipswich on Tuesday night, and says he’s happy that the manager has confidence in him ahead of the trip to Stockport.
“I knew from the get go that I had to do well straight away and catch the eye and I feel like I’ve done that, that’s what got me playing a couple of minutes recently.”
Marshall Miranda went on to talk about the players around him and how they help with his performances on the pitch.
“I love playing with Skuse, Judge, even Chambers behind me, they talk to me a lot, helped me a lot, and that experience is what I needed as well, because they know a lot more than I do about the game so it’s good to have that.
“I’ve got trust in myself because I’m here for a reason, I’m here to help the team win at the send of the day so if I come into the squad I feel like I have to do that, that’s my job.”
“I’m just waiting, we haven’t been told about the squad yet, but I’m ready for whatever comes, even if I don’t or I do, I’m ready either way because I know I’m going to contribute towards the team.”
