Colchester United booked their place in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup last night with an excellent 1-0 victory against Ipswich Town.
The U's first win at Portman Road in over seventy years means they will be in the hat later this evening when the draw for the Second Round is made.
The Round Two draw will take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Sheffield Wednesday vs Sunderland tonight.
Sky's new Carabao Cup presenter for 2022/23, Mark Chapman, will host the draw with former U's striker Clinton Morrison and Michael Gray selecting the ties.
The thirteen Premier League teams not competing in Europe enter the tournament, along with Burnley and Watford from the Sky Bet Championship. The Carabao Cup remains regionalised until Round Three.
