Colchester United supporters will be able to get their first glimpse of the new kits on Sunday.
For the first time since 2019, the U's are holding its annual Open Day, and as Robbie Cowling announced earlier this year, the stripes are back.
Both the home and away shirts will be launched at the Open Day and fans will be able to see the new designs for the first time in the Club Shop.
However, due to delivery delays beyond our control, we have been informed that stock will not be with us in time for the Open Day but .
General Manager Tim Waddington said: "We understand and share the frustration felt by the fans but the stock will be with us and available shortly."
"We're confident that fans will love the 2022/23 shirts when they see them and we'll have pre-order forms available at the Open Day to make sure those attending can be one of the first to get the kits as soon as they arrive."
The Open Day at the JobServe Community Stadium starts at 11am on Sunday, and runs until 4pm, with highlights including a first team squad open training session, a signing session, and the live auction to win one of the twelve matchworn shirts from the U's Vs Forest Green Game For Ukraine.
