The match officials have been named for this weekend’s clash with Newport County.
Andrew Kitchen will referee the U’s match at Rodney Parade, overseeing his twelfth game of the 2022/23 season.
So far he has handed out thirty-four yellow cards and one red, averaging just over three bookings per game. His last, and only game in charge of Colchester came last season in the goalless draw at Swindon Town in September.
He will be assisted by Grant Taylor, Marvyn Amphlett and Darren Wilding.
