Samson Tovide has spoke about his playing time, being an established first team player and ending the season ten games unbeaten as the U’s head to Doncaster.
It’s the penultimate game of the season and the U’s are on an eight game unbeaten streak. They travel to Doncaster Rovers in the hopes of making it nine. However, Doncaster are nine games without a win and will eb desperate to end that run.
U’s forward, Samson Tovide has spoken about going to Doncaster and getting the job done. He’s been one of the main features in the first team line up this season and has said he’s trying to stay focused and grounded as we head into the last two games.
“It feels quite good really, obviously, we’ve still got a job to do, we want to go ten games unbeaten and end the season on a high. We’ve just got to go there and do a job, stay focused, stay grounded and try and get the result.
“For me as a young player I’ve been playing with no fear and no stress really, I cant really do much wrong. That’s it really, I just need to try and stay grounded, and I think I’ve done well this season.
“The players we have in our team, the experienced boys like Luke Chambers, all of them have helped us to keep our heads and we got through it.
“We want to go into next season starting strong, so finishing the season unbeaten is the main focus really.”
