Positive start to the season for the U’s Women
As we approach the halfway point of the 2023/24 season, the U’s Women find themselves in a positive position, unbeaten in the Essex County Women’s Football League Division 2 and second round of the Essex County Women’s Football League cup.
The women have been progressing well as a team, overcoming the challenges that have been put before them so far this season.

Head Coach Luke Worley will leave his position this Christmas, and the U’s Women are now on the search for a new boss going into the second half of the season.
Colchester United Community Foundation would like to thank Luke for his hard work during the first half of the season alongside his dedication in supporting in getting the U’s Women’s Team up and running this season.
The Colchester United Women’s Team Committee shared; “The committee would like to put on record our thanks to Luke for his extensive support in establishing strong foundations for the Women's Team. The contributions made will always be remembered. We wish him all the very best in the next chapter of his football journey.”
Assistant Coach Millie Morgan and GK Coach Carl Oliver will take interim charge in the meantime while a new Head Coach is found.
