Ollie Yates will oversee Colchester United’s Sky Bet League Two clash against Wrexham on Saturday afternoon at the Racecourse Ground.
He will be assisted by Daniel Robinson, Kevin Howick and Ravel Cheosiaua.
Yates has been refereeing in League Two since the 2016-17 campaign. He first oversaw a match involving the U’s in August 2016, with Colchester securing a 2-0 win over Cambridge United.
However, U’s fans will not remember him fondly as he was also in charge of Colchester’s match against Forest Green Rovers earlier this season that finished in a 5-0 defeat for the North Essex side.
As far as his stats are concerned this season, Yates has officiated eighteen games, issuing eighty yellow cards and five reds – one of those was for Jay Mingi who was sent off at the New Lawn.
