Ossama Ashley returned to the starting eleven on Saturday afternoon as the U’s picked up three points against Grimsby Town.
The combative midfielder was influential in proceedings at Blundell Park as Colchester United made it five consecutive away victories.
And Ashley is expecting another testing match against good opposition when Walsall make the trip to North Essex later this evening.
“Every game is tough, but with the boys and the confidence we have at the moment we’re willing to take the game to anyone. It’s another one to look forward to.
“Whether they’re above or below in the table, we all look at every game the same and give it all we have. With the form that we’re in, we feel unstoppable. We’ve been playing really well and with the confidence we have, we’ll take the game to them and hopefully get the win.
“You can’t ask for much more than playing in a team with confidence. We’re going to the game excited and determined to get the three points.”
