The squad numbers for the first three January signings have been announced.

The U’s have been swift in making their first three additions to the squad in the January transfer window, with Connor Wood, Arthur Read and Fiacre Kelleher all putting pen-to-paper at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Connor Wood was the first to be announced, with the twenty-six-year-old defender joining on a loan deal until the end of the season from Leyton Orient. Wood made over 100 appearances for Bradford City in League One and League Two, with another thirty-two for his parent club last season. Connor will wear number 23 in his time with the U’s. Twenty-three-year-old midfielder Arthur Read was next to be announced, arriving on a permanent deal at the JobServe Community Stadium. Read joins from high-flying Stevenage, where he made a total of eighty-three appearances, with outings for Luton Town and Brentford in his early career. Arthur will wear number 16 in his time with the U’s. Watch the full interview with Arthur HERE.

Fiacre Kelleher was the latest player to be announced as an addition to Matt Bloomfield’s squad. The 6ft 3 defender also joins on a permanent two-and-a-half year deal, arriving from Bradford City after spending the first half of the season at Solihull Moors. Kelleher came through the ranks at Celtic, with appearances for Macclesfield and Wrexham. Fiacre will wear number 15 in his time at the club. Watch the full interview with Fiacre HERE.
