New Year, New Partnerships!

19 January 2023

CUCF’s latest partnership to further enrich the support we offer to children and their mental health in Essex and Tendring.

Our Community Safety team at Colchester United Community Foundation have joined forces with the amazing people at Heads2Minds, a local Colchester based mental health charity who strive to raise awareness and offer hope and support to those in our community.

Everybody has mental health, both good and bad. Through this partnership, we believe that we can offer opportunities to children who may not be able to have access to and enrich and support their mental health and wellbeing, by doing what we can to unite the different hard working local charities and organisations together. We hope to inspire our younger generation to look after and promote the importance of mental wellbeing.

Liz, the founder of Heads2Minds said – “It is fantastic when organisations work together in partnership who have the same values and beliefs in supporting all people with their mental and physical health. If we work together we can reach a wider audience and ensure that there is hope for the future with the right kind of tools and techniques to support people's overall wellbeing.

Any Many Minds One Heart workshop booking will receive completely FREE access to Active Listening and Pet Therapy workshops to children aged 5-11 to support them to tackle a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem and confidence.
