Colchester United’s pre-season continued with a first game at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon against Peterborough United.
Ben Garner’s side fought back from a goal down to end the game level against the League One opposition, with Noah Chilvers converting from the penalty spot.
It was also a first run out for the new U’s home kit on a soggy afternoon in North Essex – with Garner deploying two sides against Posh in the penultimate JCS game before the kick off of the 23/24 season.
