Matty Etherington has reiterated that what his side needs to do is strive to achieve the levels they produced against Swindon Town in the second half.
Matty said: “Just the intensity, the reaction to losing the ball etc. real basics of the game but it was there. It kind of got us a foothold in the game, it got us on the ball, we controlled possession for periods of the second half, although Swindon did come back into it.
“A repeat performance of that second half will definitely go a long way for us to getting a win on Saturday.”
However, Matty also pointed out that Sutton are a completely different side when compared to the Robins.
He said: “Completely different set-up, very good at what they do, very defined in the way they play and the areas that they’re trying to get into. So, we’ll have to stand up to that and we’ll have to be strong but we’re at home. There’s some momentum building hopefully and we’ll be looking to go out there and put in a good performance and get three points.”
