Colchester United U21s will take on Queens Park Rangers at Park Drive in Maldon on Monday 27th November (KO 2pm).
Tickets will be available for supporters at the gate. They are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
The U’s will aim to continue their winning form having secured victories in their last two games.
Before progressing to the Fourth Round of the Essex Senior Cup with a 4-0 victory over Heybridge Swifts, Liam Bailey’s men saw off Luton Town in the Premier League Cup with a 2-0 win.
The U’s attention now switches back to the Professional Development League when QPR come to town.
Colchester currently sit bottom of group B having amassed six points from eight games. They have, however, played the lowest number of games.
The U’s are eighteen points behind the league leaders, QPR, but have four games in hand.
Speaking ahead of the match, Liam said that despite his side not having won in the league for quite some time, the two cup victories should spur his players on.
He added: “The performances in the league haven't been terrible and we've been in every game that we've played. But, it's just about finding a little bit of that form and taking it back to the league and building that consistency, which is really important for young players.“
