Colchester United boss Ben Garner says his side was buoyed by the win over Cambridge in the week, but know that Harrogate will be a tough test at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday.
Harrogate Town have picked up ten of their sixteen points on the road this season, winning two of their last three on their travels.
But U’s boss Ben Garner knows his side will be in for a tough test this weekend, when Simon Weaver’s side look for their first ever win, or point, in North Essex.
“The players involved in that [Tuesday’s win against Cambridge] have come in with a good spring in their step, and I think it’s lifted the group as a whole.
“Harrogate have had some really good results and performances away from home. I think they’re always a really organised side, and you can see the detail in their preparation, and how they work without the ball in particular.
“They’re a real threat on the counter-attack and they have some really capable players that can build attacks themselves. But we want to play our game, and how we’ve set up to win in the best way that we can do.
“Ultimately, it’s about what we do. We’ve got a way that we want to play on Saturday, we’ve got a system and it’s about going and delivering that now. Every single one of us is 100% on it and focused.”
