Jake Hutchinson has signed for Queen of the South.
The Scottish League One side have made a great start to the 2023/24 campaign, winning three of their four matches to sit third in the table and just three points behind early leaders Hamilton.
Hutchinson joined the U's from Brighton & Hove Albion, and made his way quickly into the U23s side.
Loan spells at Tonbridge Angels, Grays Athletic, Brightlingsea and Hitchin helped his development, before further spells at Eastbourne Borough and Aldershot last season.
He has found first team opputunities hard to come by at the U's, and joins Queen of the South on a permanent two year contract.
