Colchester United have signed Zach Mitchell on loan.
The highly regarded defender will be with the U's for the 2023/24 season, having signed on deadline day from parent club Charlton Athletic.
Zach has been with the Addicks for over ten years already, coming up through the Academy at The Valley and signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2022.
The now eighteen year old is expected to be involved in the U's game at Walsall on Saturday, taking the number fifteen shirt.
