Colchester United U21s will take on Cardiff City in a Professional Development League clash at Park Drive in Maldon on Monday 26th February (KO 12noon).
Tickets for the match will be available at the gate and are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Liam Bailey’s men are currently on a six-game unbeaten streak after securing three victories and three draws in their last six matches.
The U’s great run of form began with a 2-0 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League Cup before they saw off Buckhurst Hill in the quarterfinal of the BBC Essex Senior Cup.
Three draws then followed against Millwall (2-2), Cardiff City (1-1), and QPR (1-1), before Colchester secured their place in the final of the Essex Senior Cup with a 3-2 win against Hashtag United.
However, Cardiff City are enjoying a good spell themselves and are currently on a three-game unbeaten streak.
The Bluebirds came out victorious twice from their last three clashes, with only Colchester managing to steal points from the Welsh capital.
The U’s will now be hoping to make home advantage count and go one step further than a week ago and send Cardiff back on the road with nothing.
