Scott Simpson will officiate Colchester United clash against Bradford City at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon (KO 3pm).
He will be assisted by Paul Lister-Flynn, Conall Bartlett and Hugh Gilroy.
Simpson took charge of his first League Two game in April 2023 when he oversaw a clash between AFC Wimbledon and Swindon Town. The match finished 5-1 to the Robins with Simpson issuing eight yellow cards and one red.
During the 2023-24 campaign so far, the official has overseen eighteen games giving out ninety-six yellows and eight reds.
Simpson has never been in charge of a clash involving the U’s before.
